Core Competency Implementation Documents
- KCSARA Individual Core Competency Task Booklet v1.1 (June 7, 2014) - A booklet that you can print out to keep track of your own training records. Your unit may require you to keep one of these current. At the academy, you will receive one of these as a back-up in case there are roster entry issues.
- KCSO / Units Core Competency Implementation Plan (June 7, 2014) - The long-form plan agreed upon by both the King County Sheriff's Office and by all of the units. This plan describes how core competency compliant training should be performed.
- KCSARA Training Availibily Chart v1.2 (June 11, 2014) - A shortcut that helps outline the currently accepted ways to receive credit for core competency training. This includes the table of current equivilencies.
- "v80" Document - The state document that describes the objectives any core-compliant training must meet. This does not reflect any county-specific policies introduced by our SAR coordinators, the King County Sheriff's Office.
